Sorry for the long pause in posting to my blog. A lot has been going on: dental surgery (ouch), sickness, and some other unexpected surprises. But I was able to meet my book deadline to my editor, which always makes me happy.
Sunday night it started snowing and brother did it put down a lot of white fluffy delight. The picture above is the view from my front porch. We left out our snowman from Christmas. He's so cute and helps cheer us up during the depressing and gloomy days of January.
Yesterday when my grandson was here we went out and shoveled the walks and driveways. We had a blast.
Isn't he cute?
And here he is again, standing by the snowman in the first picture.
Now today it's snowing again. Guess that's why they call this winter. ;)
This is great writing weather though, so I'm grateful for that.
What do you do during the cold, snowy months of winter that makes you happy?
Thursday I'll post a book review. Until then stay warm and safe.
